The Gondola Shop is an innovative, ski lift-specific, on and off-site service company that focuses on improving the condition of your cable transport systems.

Since 1998, we have been a pioneer in gondola plastic polishing under the name of Sunshine Polishing. In 2019, we became The Gondola Shop and evolved into a complete restoration specialist for gondola lifts, offering even more aesthetic improvement solutions from our shop in Fruita, Colorado.

WHAT DOES A COMPLETE GONDOLA RESTORATION LOOK LIKE?

First, we completely disassemble it to the bare frame and inspect for damage. Once necessary repairs are made they are off to sandblast. Then cabins get a new coat of industrial paint, new upholstery, new windows with interior protective film and interior 3M paint protective vinyl. Next, they are reassembled with new hardware, all to manufacturer's recommendations. On top of that, for our custom restorations we offer extras such as heated seats, tables and LED lighting.
